Love this show from Grounded on reading and studying your Bible and studying Scriptures too .I need to study my Bible more and love this Grounded episode on this so much to learn and study the Bible.

I find it it so odd that Robert’s first wife (of 44 years) died and he starting thinking about another woman a few months after. His first wife died in October and he was married by November of the following year. I know that his first wife gave him permission to remarry, but how do you mourn and process the loss of your wife of 44 years for a few months and then start dating a new woman and plan a wedding all in barely a year??? I know we all mourn differently but wow … he was like “thank you, next!!” Not a good Christian witness !!

My dad died. It will be a year in the coming days. I am so broken. My husband and i married in city hall. Next year, we will renew our vows. The plan was for my dad to take me down the aisle. That won't be happening. As i am planning for a wedding, the once excited woman, cries like a broken hearted little girl. All I can do is break down and cry

Amen! May the redeemed of the Lord say so!

This reminded me not to focus on what I don’t have (like Adam and Eve did in the Garden of Eden), but to focus on the joy of what God has already given me in my singleness.

What a wonderful reminder that God is working behind the scenes. ❤

Been going through the motions of rebuilding a relationship with God but still falling short but listening to how Naomi felt reminds me of me

Thank you for this and the previous episode about building a Christian home.. I relate to the concept that a lot of good godly things are a decision in the head, and the hart needs to follow. There are a lot of such decisions to make when there are also 3 small children in the house, who constantly change and bring new challenges.. By grace my husband and I regularly can sit down and exactly look at the situation and take some of these good decisions on how to build further.. At the same time, one of the first thoughts that comes in is how inadequate I am, expecially in responding right at any given moment and in front of any given challenge..vitamin 3 is a big staple in our home 😉It's a lot of grace that God actually really wants us to make it and to live abundantly. I like when Mr Wolgemuth stated that we should treat each other as if we were treating guest in our home. It’s so true that we give much attention to guest that comes over. We recently had family staying in our home for a few days due to my mother-in-law passing. I treated them so well. Made sure they had everything they needed etc. Now I’m thinking after listening to the podcast that I don’t give my husband as much attention as I gave those family members. Wow! It makes you think 🤔 and repent. Thank you 🙏
